I really enjoyed taking lessons with Brett B. at BPG. As a beginner, I appreciated how he made learning easy and helped me improve step by step. The facility has three open bays, one private bay, and a practice bay. I especially like the practice bay because it gives me space to focus without worrying about the ball bouncing out or hitting someone. I also prefer the TrackMan system since it is more advanced, beginner-friendly, and doesn't require adjusting the target direction like other systems. I highly recommend taking lessons with Brett and playing at BPG!

I've engaged Breaking par on a few levels - lessons, club purchase / fitment, and indoor golf this winter. Breaking par facility - It's rare to see a business that is this well run and client focussed. The customer service from all employees are consistent at the highest level. Right down to the details of carrying your clubs for you to just supporting you through your indoor round and your golf experience in the larger context. Indoor golf - I am enjoying this nearly as much as outdoor golf. BPG puts on a weekly competition, I've met three other guys to golf with, and I play at least a game a week, usually with a practice session in the practice bay to boot. The data from the trackman system is incredible. Club purchase & fitment - I bought Tayolormade and Brett was able to purchase the clubs (BPG is a dealer of a few different manufacturers including Taylormade and Titleist). Configurable / customizable clubs (i.e. different shafts, offsets etc) is out of my realm of expertise. Brett spent time with me trying different shafts and between my feel for it and the data, a setup was chosen. I've had the clubs for about a month now and couldn't be happier with them. Lessons - I find Brett is able to strike a balance in teaching me between technical, feel for the swing/shot, and the hardest part.....the 6" between the ears..... Spend an hour with him and it's not too hard to see that teaching is his gift. So...the million dollar question....is my game better. Without a doubt. Last year I dropped 6 off my hdcp and that's really only the beginning. The hdcp at this point doesn't tell the whole picture. My enjoyment level is definitely up and I'm enjoying meaningful practice between rounds. My streaks of pars / birdies / bogeys is steadily increasing and my other holes are doubles and triples instead of 9s and 10s. Consistently (though I'm not above the occasional 10 :) Can't say enough about this business and how well it's run and the fantastic people that work there.
