I had a great experience at Onyx Golf today! I think this is the best place for indoor golf in Orange County. I have been to a lot of golf simulator studios across Orange County like in Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Newport Beach, and Irvine and Onyx Golf is by far the best. Do not forget to get some snacks from their cafe! Some of the best coffee I have ever had.

Update - brand new mats have improved the overall experience. As someone who’s been here over 30 times I feel I can give a honest and accurate review. For pricing the early bird special is a really good deal it’s pretty much the only time I come, otherwise I think $50 for small bay is on the expensive side. My biggest gripe with onyx is the tee and hitting area. Having the hitting surface elevated from where your standing sucks and can affect your shots. The tee situation is very frustrating as well. They do charge you $5 per person in each bay which is ridiculous. They do also use titleist practice balls which is another disappoint I always use my own balls for that reason.

Johnathan and David are the best! Onyx is awesome! The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to golf. I highly recommend visiting here. They also have the best gear and equipment, very good experience visiting here. Will come again!
